Bertelsmann Tycoon Died - Reinhard Mohn Billionaire


The Billionaire, Reinhard Mohn, was the man who built Germany's Bertelsmann business from a family printing and publishing company into one of the top media companies, in the world. It was annouced today that he has died ~ Age 88.

Richard Mohn was on the 2009 Forbes billionaire list with a net worth of 2.5 billion dollars. His firm (Bertelsmann) employs more than 100,000 people.

The CEO stated that "Bertelsmann mourns the loss of one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our age.... All of us at Bertelsmann, the entire nation, as well as our friends in Europe and the rest of the world have lost an entrepreneur and benefactor par excellence"

Richard Mohn had been battling an illness for a long time. Please pray for Richard Mohn's family family, friends and coworkers.

Letterman and Holly Hester - Secret Intern Affair




Holly Hester, Letterman's intern in the early 90's, told TMZ today that she secretly dated Letterman and was madly in love with him. Hester is the third Letteman staffer to be linked with the Late Show host.

She was an intern at the time and attending NYU. They first started dating her during a break with their magical fist date being a movie. How exciting! After roughly a year, according to Hester, they broke up when they couldn't get past the age difference.

Hester told TMX "I was madly in love with him at the time. I would have married him. He was hilarious."

That goes to show you that funny guys can score dates, even if they are up in age.

Erin Andrews Video ~ Breaking News




The Erin Andrews Peephole Video case had a breakthrough today. The case involved the video of Erin Andrews (from ESPN) naked in her hotel room. The video had made it's way to the internet 2 months back.

An arrest has finally been made. A Chicago man has been accused of taking the Erin Andrews Peephole video and is under police custody.

The FBI statement said that the Michael David Barret, the 48-year old chicago man, now faces federal charges. He is being charged with interstate staking for taking the Erin Andrews Peephole video, posting the videos online, and trying to sell them to celebrity Web site TMZ.

Erin Andrews is scheduled to be on ESPN working tonight, covering the Auburn-Tennessee game.

So, it looks like Erin Andrews earlier frantic statements like: I kept screaming: 'I'm done. My career is over. I'm done. Get it off. Get it off the Internet,"' she said as she remembered talking to her father. "They thought I was physically injured, (that's) how bad I was screaming." proved to be untrue.
