Brittany Murphy was found in the shower unconscious, and her husband, Simon Monjack called 911. Murphy went into cardiac arrest and wasn’t revived. She was pronounced dead at 10:04 am on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday.

Actress Brittany Murphy was found dead on Sunday morning. The actress had a heart attack and paramedics were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

The 911 call reporting the Brittany's heart attack was made from the home of Simon Monjack. According to TMZ, Brittany Murphy's mom found the actress in the shower and paramedics administered CPR at the home and on the way to the hospital.

Brittany Murphy was only 32 years old. She had starred in many shows and movies including 'Clueless', 'Girl Interrupted', "8 Mile" and had been a voice actress on "King of the Hill". She also dabbled in music.

Please pray for Brittany Murphy's family, friends and fans who are dealing with the difficult loss of such a young talented girl.

The Duggar family said hello to baby number 19 (Josie Brooklyn Duggar) on Thursday. Michelle Duggar gave birth to her 19th child in Little Rock, Arkansas - 3 months earlier than she had planned.

This was a little unexpected, since the baby wasn't due until late March. Michelle Duggar had been airlifted to the hospital over the weekend because of gallstone problems. Later, they decided it was time to get the baby out. So, Josie Brooklyn Duggar was born at 6:27 p.m. Thursday, weighing one pound, six ounces.

At this point, Baby - Josie Duggar in recovering in neonatal intensive care unit and Mommy - Michelle Duggar are both resting.

The family is grateful for all the prayers and well-wishes during their recovery that they have received from family, friends and fans.

Diane Sawyer said goodbye to Good Morning America on Friday. After appearing on Good Morning America roughly 3000 times she has decided to move on.

Sawyer ended her Good Morning America showing with video clips, celebrity goodbyes and tear filled hugs. This brings a nice close to 10 years on the show.

So, what's next for Diane Sawyer? it looks like she will move on to "Word News". She will be the anchor and starts on Dec 21st (replacing retiring Charles Gibson). Even though we are losing her on Good Morning America, at least she is staying in the ABC Family.

George Stephanopoulos has decided to step in as the new co-anchor of Good Morning America.

There are rumors that Shaq (Shaquille O’Neal) is retiring from basketball. Shaq's' contract is due to expire following the 2009-2010 season.

If Shaq does retire, it will be a huge loss to the game. Besides being a dominant player in the NBA, he is also super popular among non sports fans. He has appeared in movies, tv, done music videos and songs and more. Shaq is also extremely active in the community (most recently paying for the funeral of Shaniya Davis).

So far this is just a rumor. If he is retiring, you can expect it's because he has a big movie deal,TV contract, or he is retiring to become a missionary to help the world at large.

Shaq really is a superstar on and off the court.

Notre Dame Hired Cincinnati’s Brian Kelly to Replace Coach Weis

Coach Brian Kelly from the University of Cincinnati was named football coach at the University of Notre Dame after having an undefeated season (12-0). His new job is to rebuild Notre Dame's program which has been struggling. His contract will span for 5 years and kick off in the middle of December.

Charlie Weis (the now former Notre Dame coach) was fired on November 30th after a four game losing streak and an overall record of 6-6 for the season.

If anyone can turn Notre Dame around it will be Coach Brian Kelly.

Kylie Bisutti has become the newest "Angel" model for Victoria’s Secret. Kylie Bisutti was crowned the latest Victoria’s Secret angel last night on a televised runway show Tuesday night. The is the finale ending months of competition among thousands of women across the country vying to be the next Victoria's Secret lingerie superstar.

The former Miss Argentina, Solange Magnano, died Sunday after complications arising from plastic surgery.

Solange Magnano died in a hospital after being transferred from a clinic where she underwent an elective surgery on her buttocks. She was 37 years old and the mother of two 7 year old twins.

Solange Magnano had been namded Miss Argentian back in 1994. This that time she had started her on modeling agency in Argentina.

Authorities are still investigating the exact cause of her death.

On Friday, a Los Angeles commissioner approved Heidi Klum's legal name change to Heidi Samuel, her husband Seal's last name. Heidi Klum and Seal were married 4 years ago, and Heidi has four children. So, I guess she figured it was time to make the final leap to bring the couple closer together.

In the court filing Heidi Klum noted "Marrige" as the reason for the name change. So the next big question... on Project Runway will they start calling her Heidi Samuel or will her on camera name Klum still follow her around.

Yesterday Heidi Klum walked down the runway at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.

I think Heidi and Seal make a great couple and I am happy things are working out for them.

A group of Christians have started wearing T-shirts and posting bumper stickers with the Slogan - "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8". For those unfamiliar with Psalm 109:8, this may seem like a positive message.

However, the psalm reads "Let his days be few; and let another take his office." The verse after Psalm 109:8 reads, "Let his children be fatherless and his wife the widow". Are they are praying for the death of President Obama. It sure seems that way.

Christians who wear the Psalm 109:8 don't give Christians a very good name. What do you think?

A recent study of 16 mummies (around 3,500 years old) found that there were signs of heart disease.

- Nine mummies in the group showed evidence of hardened arteries and atherosclerosis. The mummies studied were around 3,500 years old.

- Seven of the eight mummies who were older than 45 when they died had calcification, compared with only two of eight that were younger than 45.

- Men and women were affected equally

Evan Chandler, The father of the boy (Jordan Chandler) who once accused Michael Jackson of molestation, has committed suicide. Even Chandler was found dead in his bed with a single gunshot wound to his head in a New Jersey luxary apartment. He was still holding the gun when the body was found.


It was early in the 90s when Evan Chandler first reported to the Police that Michael Jackson had molested his 13-year-old son Jordan.

Goldman Sachs and Warren Buffet are teaming up to invest $500 million in Small Business Owners. They plan to provide thousands of small business owners across America with college scholarships and boost their access to capital.

Goldman Sachs philanthropic effort is being called "10,000 Small Businesses". It will include a $200 million contribution to community colleges, universities and other institutions. The $200 million will then be given as grants to small business owners to further their education. The other $300 million will be given out through loans and charitable giving.

The focus of the grant, loan and charitable giving will be focused on small businesses in underserved communities.

Taylor Swift has received the approval to write cards for American Greetings. Taylor Swift plans to create a line of greeting cards, gift packaging, stationery, online photo personalization products and online greetings that will be available worldwide.

Taylor Swift Said,"My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards," ... "I've always been fascinated by feelings and how we express them to each other. Getting to write and design these cards is a wonderful experience."

The Taylor Swift Greeting Cards are supposed to be ready in the spring.

If you live in Ireland, you should be in for a treat on tonight night as the Leonid Meteor Shower reaches its peak. It is predicted that up to 40 meteors per hour could soar through the skies over Northern Ireland.

The Leonid meteor shower is a result of the Earth passing through trails of dust emitted by Comet Tempel-Tuttle in the years 1466 and 1533. The comet swings around the sun once every 33 years, leaving a trail of dust. Each November, the Earth's orbit takes it through that slowly dissipating trail.

Heather Locklear has decided to come back to “Melrose Place”. She returns as the woman we knew and loved, Amanda Woodward.

Melrose Place is averaging just 1.9 million viewers with only 700,000 of them in the target demographic of 18-to-34-year-old women.

"Before I saw the pilot they had asked me and I thought, 'It's a whole new network, new writers, how do I fit in?' " Locklear said. "I wasn't sure we were supposed to be messing with this. I saw the pilot and I wasn't sure, still. But then I saw the second episode and I thought, 'This is really fun, the clothes are great and now they're starting to get into some story lines.' And I went, 'I'm in. If I'm not the one who killed Sydney, I'm in."


The first time Melrose Place was on, it was a huge hit. Now the show has been suffering... so who better to bring back than Heather Locklear. That's enough to get me to watch an episode or two, so maybe the plan will work.

Comedian Ken Ober, The man who hosted MTV's first non-musical TV series has died.
He hosted the late-'80s game show "Remote Control," was found dead last Sunday night.

Although the cause of Ober's death is officially unknown, The Comic's Comic blog reported that he died of a heart attack. He was 52 years old.

Ober's claim to fame was for hosting the MTV game show where contestants sat on recliners in a set dressed to look like Ober's basement and answered questions to avoid elimination. Ken Ober also worked as a producer on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,The New Adventures of Old Christine and Mind of Mencia.

Shaniya Davis was remembered tonight in an emotional and grief-stricken candlelight vigil. The beautiful little five year old disappeared from her home in Fayetteville, North Carolina on November 10, 2009. The body of Shaniya Davis was found today, leaving a community as well as a nation shocked and saddened.


The pain and grief is also met with anger as Shaniya’s mother has been charged with child abuse involving prostitution. Shaniya was seen on surveillance video being carried into a hotel by Mario McNeill, a 29 year old man now charged with first degree kidnapping. The discovery of Shaniya’s body swiftly ended hopes of those who believed they would find Shaniya alive. That hope and faith was seen in Shaniya’s father who appeared on CBS’ Early Show this morning, pleading for his little girl’s return.

Miley Cyrus dead? It looks like another weekend with made up Celebrity News. I noticed "Miley Cyrus dead" as a google trending topics. When looking into it, it looks like another false rumor.

So, all of you Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montanna, can rest easy. The start is still alive and kicking.

Tom Sparks died after competing on the reality show Wipeout. According to the Los Angeles Times, Tom Sparks died of a stroke after attempting an obstacle course on Wipeout.

After Tom Sparks had the stroke he was rushed to the hospital. His brain was operated on several times, but it didn't help. Tom Sparks was pronounced dead on November the 5th.

Tom Sparks was 33 and was in the process of earning his BA in communications from USC. He was also a newlywed. He and his wife Katie had competed together on Wipeout.

Holly Hester, Letterman's intern in the early 90's, told TMZ today that she secretly dated Letterman and was madly in love with him. Hester is the third Letteman staffer to be linked with the Late Show host.

She was an intern at the time and attending NYU. They first started dating her during a break with their magical fist date being a movie. How exciting! After roughly a year, according to Hester, they broke up when they couldn't get past the age difference.

Hester told TMX "I was madly in love with him at the time. I would have married him. He was hilarious."

That goes to show you that funny guys can score dates, even if they are up in age.

The Erin Andrews Peephole Video case had a breakthrough today. The case involved the video of Erin Andrews (from ESPN) naked in her hotel room. The video had made it's way to the internet 2 months back.

An arrest has finally been made. A Chicago man has been accused of taking the Erin Andrews Peephole video and is under police custody.

The FBI statement said that the Michael David Barret, the 48-year old chicago man, now faces federal charges. He is being charged with interstate staking for taking the Erin Andrews Peephole video, posting the videos online, and trying to sell them to celebrity Web site TMZ.

Erin Andrews is scheduled to be on ESPN working tonight, covering the Auburn-Tennessee game.

So, it looks like Erin Andrews earlier frantic statements like: I kept screaming: 'I'm done. My career is over. I'm done. Get it off. Get it off the Internet,"' she said as she remembered talking to her father. "They thought I was physically injured, (that's) how bad I was screaming." proved to be untrue.
